About us

CK Designs was started in 2001 by owner Clay Klepper.  Clay had a few ideas of products he used at the time but found that no one manufactured them to his specific needs.  Armed with a credit card and a few sketches, the business was started and soon other drivers & teams started calling.  Rather than sell direct, Clay decided to align himself using authorized dealers and soon began a long-time relationship with many of the top Sprint & Midget businesses around the country.  

Fast forward to 2026, and after nearly 25yrs in the business, Clay Klepper sold CK Designs to Eric & Sarah Chambers.  Eric & Sarah live in Kentucky and have a passion for the racing industry.  Eric and Clay have worked together for years (both from the west coast), and Clay was excited for the opportunity for Eric/Sarah to take CKD to new levels and expand the product line.  CK Designs is now located in Glasgow, KY and prides itself on producing quality made products, that look as well as they work.
